Recording

Recording sessions are kept focused, with attention on performance, arrangement and getting things to sound just right instead of overcomplicating things.
The studio works well for Blues, Folk, Jazz, Rock and related styles, and is set up for vocals, guitars and in-the-box production.
It isn’t suited to loud full-band tracking or acoustic drums, but can comfortably handle layered recordings and more detailed work.

Mixing

Mixing is approached with aiming for clarity and balance while keeping the character of the original recording.
The focus is on a natural, slightly analogue-leaning sound rather than heavy processing, so the end result still feels like a real performance.

Guitar

Guitar parts can be recorded remotely or as part of a session, always with the aim of supporting and enhancing the song.
The focus is on feel, tone and placement — whether that’s something simple and direct or more detailed technical work depending on the track.
Most of the work sits around Rock, Blues and related styles, but I’ve worked across a wide ranges of genres.

Rates are usually quoted per project depending on the work involved.
For smaller or clearly defined sessions, an hourly rate can be used where appropriate.
